The ZEROcompany program inviting 20 local companies to develop climate strategies, calculate their carbon footprint, identify potential carbon reductions and commit to a minimum of 10% carbon reductions within one year has been successfully launched in May 2009.
Mid July 2009 all companies completed the CDP Carbon Disclosure Project (www.cdproject.net) filing. By doing this, the Sonderborg companies represent the largest community of SME companies doing the CDP-filing so far.
The Companies will continue to develop their skills in participation for employees, climate communication to the market and achieve committed carbon reduction goals.
